Hi, I’m Ethan! :)

As a child, I spent most of my time drawing and reading books, fascinated by how art and stories could build entire worlds in our minds. Over time, that love for reading evolved into a passion for writing and ultimately a career in technical writing, where I learned to translate complex systems into clear language. I used my interest in prose and punctuation to craft meaningful content.

That path has taken me to some interesting places. I have crawled under autonomous vehicles at Zoox to understand the mechanics behind the manuals I wrote, and I have written documentation about mastering data at Tamr, things I never thought I’d learn and write about! As I spent more time working alongside product teams, writing naturally expanded into design. I realized I did not just want to craft the words; I wanted to help define the entire end-to-end experience through content design.

Today, I’m a Technical Writer and Content Designer at Salesforce. Through it all, I have kept those early roots alive, using clear content and intentional UX to make the technical feel human and the complex feel simple.
