About Me

I’m Ethan Tran, a San Francisco-based specialist in Content Design, Technical Communication, and UX. My career is rooted in a lifelong curiosity for how we make sense of the world through art and language. I love translating complex ideas into clear, intentional digital experiences.

My path has been a journey of discovery. It started with a childhood spent drawing and reading, and it evolved into a career that’s taken me from technical writing in the heart of Cambridge to crawling under autonomous vehicles at Zoox to understand the mechanics behind the manuals.

Today, I’m at Salesforce, where I blend my technical background with a love for UX and design. Whether I’m building out websites or crafting content strategies, I focus on making the technical feel human and the complex feel simple.

I’m deeply grateful for the path that brought me here—from those early days designing my first portfolio to the high-impact projects I get to work on now. I’ve learned that the best work happens when you combine technical precision with genuine heart.

My partner and I live in Pacifica with our two dogs!

A young man with dark hair and tattoos on his arms, sitting at a table in a restaurant, looking down with his hands on his face, surrounded by various dishes including rice, salad, and a grilled meat dish.

I enjoy cooking and appreciating delicious food.

Black and white manga-style drawing of two young men with messy hair, one with glasses, and a small cat with glasses. One man is holding a small black cat who appears to be pawing at his face. The other young man is smiling and saying 'mrow'.

Lastly, I love to draw, especially anime and manga.
